The Port of Portland is expecting annual travelers at the Portland International Airport to climb to 33 million by 2045 and is investing close to $2 billion on the Terminal Core Redevelopment project for a vital expansion to ensure PDX will be able to serve the community well into the future.
The Port selected the Hoffman-Skanska Joint Venture to play a major role in this transformative effort known as PDX Next. The primary TCORE project will completely remodel the Terminal Core. The renovated passenger entry terminal will double the size of the current ticketing and lobby area when it opens in 2025. Further, a new 9-acre large-span roofing system will be installed over the entire terminal core complex while a 150-foot multi-floor addition between Concourses C and D will be constructed with new pre- and post-security concessions.
Most importantly, opportunities are being presented to local businesses and communities throughout our region with focus on the MWESB business community.
The Port of Portland and Hoffman-Skanska Joint Venture will be discussing best Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices that have been implemented to date on this project.
