About the Inland Northwest Chapter

Blanca Cázares received her master’s degree in architecture from the University of Idaho and has been an active member of DBIA since 2019. As part of the Inland Northwest Chapter, she has served as Young Professional Chair, Regional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Co-Chair, and currently serves as Treasurer.

Blanca brings hands-on experience from working on nine design-build projects and values the collaborative nature of this delivery method. She appreciates how design-build brings together multiple disciplines to develop creative, efficient solutions and deliver successful outcomes.

Brydon Eakins earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Washington and has over a decade of experience in the AEC industry. Having worked as a specialty contractor, general contractor, and Owner Advisor, he offers a comprehensive perspective across the project lifecycle. While his experience spans a variety of delivery methods, Brydon is particularly passionate about the collaboration and successful outcomes driven by Design-Build delivery.

Since becoming Associate DBIA certified in 2020, Brydon has been an active advocate for Design-Build. Since 2022, he has served on several national committees and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Student and Academia Engagement Committee and Chair of the Student Competition Subcommittee.

Rob Decker joined Garco Construction in 2008 as a project engineer. Prior to that Rob served as an Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer in the United States Army and served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was based out of Joint Base Lewis- McChord; and his military experience has provided him invaluable experience in managing operations, administration and organizational logistics for construction projects. In 2019 Rob was promoted to senior project manager and joined Garco’s senior management team. He provides overall leadership execution and direction for projects and the project team, often leading design-build projects. He is responsible for ensuring that Garco delivers the highest quality project on schedule and within budget. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Environmental Engineering from US Military Academy West Point, as well as a Construction Management certificate from the University of Washington. Rob resides in Spokane, Washington with his wife and children. In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.

Vince brings over 40 years of experience in construction & design management, public & private contracting, and preconstruction services, with the last 32 years at Lydig Construction. His experience in alternative delivery includes over $600 million in design-build projects including several progressive projects. Vince is also the Chair of DBIA’s National Legislative Committee, having served in that position since 2022. He served two terms as a General Contractor’s Representative on the State of Washington’s Capital Projects Advisory Review Board, helping shape the initial design-build statutes in Washington State.

Robert’s 30+ years of experience as a former Architectural Principal/Firm Owner in Spokane has led to numerous successful projects and lifelong relationships. His current focus with Missoula Concrete Construction is to provide predevelopment and design assistance for Owners, Contractors and A/E teams, where the use of precast walls, floor and roof systems are incorporated in buildings. He’s a member of AIA, LEED AP and DBIA certified and have Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Montana State University

Tina Campanella is an engagement specialist with a B.S. in Psychology and Speech Communication from Washington State University and an MBA from Eastern Washington University. She started as a Business Management Consultant for AEC clients, focusing on strategic management, operations, and team building. Her consulting work included corporate planning, marketing strategy, and educational program creation. Tina then transitioned to AEC practice, working as a Marketing and Business Manager before becoming the Marketing Director at Integrus Architecture, specializing in Higher Education. She excels in workshops, engaging audiences through idea development and problem-solving.

Jesse received his mechanical engineering degree from Gonzaga University and has 9 years of experience in the design and construction industry. He’s currently a mechanical project manager for MW Engineers with experience in alternative delivery methods for projects in healthcare, higher education, K-12, federal, and various other industries in the pacific northwest.
