About the Moderator:

Adam Goldberg – Mackenzie, Senior Associate

Adam Goldberg is a skilled Architect and Project Manager with a wide array of experience across sectors including public safety, commercial office, build-to-suit and speculative industrial, and advanced technology. Adam has professional and academic backgrounds in both Architecture and Construction Management providing him with the unique opportunities to have served in roles as both an Architect, General Contractor, Construction Project Manager, and fabricator. Adam has been with Mackenzie, a multidisciplinary Architecture, Engineering and Planning firm since moving to Portland four years ago and proudly serves on the regional DBIA Programs and Promotions Committee.

About the Panelists:

Tyler McNichols – Cherry City Electric, Director of Preconstruction

Tyler McNichols is the Preconstruction Manager for Cherry City Electric where he is responsible for overseeing the success and execution of all preconstruction opportunities. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering before building a strong footing in estimating and becoming an integral part of Cherry City’s design-build and design-assist teams. Tyler’s primary goal is to collaborate with the designers, owners, and project management teams to deliver projects within the target budget as well as ensure the trade partners have a voice in the Big Room. A constant learner, he explores new ways to track estimates, risks, and value-added opportunities as well as methods to reduce waste in the design and estimating process. He is well versed in collaborative project delivery methods and lean design practices including the Last Planner System and Big Room Co-Location.

Eva Talbot – Lease Crutcher Lewis, Sr Design Construction Integrator

Eva Talbot, AIA, brings a robust and diverse background in design, DFMA, Contech startups, and industrialized construction to her role as a Senior Construction Design Integrator at Lease Crutcher Lewis. With a passion for fostering collaborative environments and pioneering innovative solutions, Eva excels in streamlining collaborative design and construction processes to enhance team integration. Her expertise is pivotal in aligning multidisciplinary teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless project execution. Dedicated to advancing AEC practices, Eva is shaping a safe, efficient, and sustainable future for the built environment by driving the industry towards more integrated and sustainable construction practices.

Robin Cochran – Executive Forum, VP of Operations

Robin Cochran is VP of Operations for Executive Forum (Portland). Everything Executive Forum does is designed to provide individuals with the understanding and skills that frame successful human interaction by going beyond “what” to do, to HOW.
