Diversity, Inclusion & Equity & the DE-Commoditizing A&E Services
Traditional delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build promoted low bid and adverse climate. This is arguably one reason why the construction industry has the #2 bankruptcy rate in our nation.
On the contrary, Design-Build promotes value, shared risk, and therefore, sustainability for all partners and stakeholders. As a DEI committee, we desire Equity (fair fees) for all partners in the Design-Build process.
In this session, we will explore the “DE-commoditization” of A&E services and strategies to achieve fair fees because the greater the quality of upstream A&E deliverables, the better pre-construction and construction will flow downstream.
