On Monday, July 29th, the DBIA Western Washington chapter hosted its annual golf tournament at the picturesque Plateau Club in Sammamish, WA. Despite the rain, spirits were high, and the event was marked by friendly competition and camaraderie among industry professionals.
The tournament kicked off with enthusiasm as teams teed off across the well-manicured greens, navigating through the weather with determination. Participants showcased their golfing skills, but it was the team of Zach Foster, Patrick Armstrong, Ben Prehoda, and Kevin Frary who emerged victorious, claiming the 1st Place title. Close on their heels were Markus Kdula, Wade Finley, and Charles Stanley, securing 2nd Place, while the team of Brian Jones, Jason Pratt, and Rick Farrington rounded out the top three.
In addition to the main event, participants had the opportunity to test their putting skills, where Alisha Gentry took home the Putting Contest win. The Longest Drive competition saw Megan Larson and Nowell Ancheta impress with their powerful shots, while Patrick Hilsabeck won the Closest to the Pin contest with a remarkable 23-foot shot.
The success of the tournament was made possible by the dedicated volunteers who ensured everything ran smoothly. Special thanks go out to Matt Alvarado, Andrea VanderLende, Bill Maisbusch, Amy Ohlinger, Tina Mckone, Marjorie Chang, Jennifer Coyne, Shannon Brush, Kayla Van Lieshout, Brianna Ong, Ashlyn Heusch, Shaojia Fan, Marco Navlet, and Noah Toomey for their hard work and support.
