The Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs (OAME)
DBIA is forming relationships with local organizations in the Northwest that support diverse businesses. One of these organizations is the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs (OAME), which has a 34-year history and was one of the first to advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Oregon. With the slogan “Everybody’s In and Nobody’s Out,” OAME supports successful entrepreneurship in the AEC community through its signature networking events, which typically feature over $2 billion worth of projects. The OAME Center located in North Portland provides business incubator spaces, technical assistance, and a micro-loan program, which has a national ranking among the top 3.
The annual OAME trade show is coming up on May 11, 2023 and will be held at the Oregon Convention Center which features more than 130 Trade Show Booths.
This year, Shemia Fagan, Oregon Secretary of State, will be our keynote speaker.
