It was a bright and sunny day at the 12th Annual DBIA Golf Tournament at Willows Run Golf Course in Redmond. A huge THANK YOU to our players and Tournament sponsors for helping DBIA raise over $90,000 for our DBIA Scholarship Fund! This year we had four (4) scholarship winners who are planning to enter the fields of Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Skanska was our DEI College Scholarship sponsor awarding a $2,500 DEI scholarship to Elsa Moreno Rangel. She plans to study Construction Engineering Management at Oregon State University.
- DBIA Northwest scholars include Cesar Bedolla-Hurtado, awarded $2,500 who attends Washington State University and studies Civil Engineering and Madison Merwine awarded $2,500 who attends the University of Oregon and studies Architecture.
- DBIA NW ACE Mentor Program of Washington Scholar Mason Niemeyer was awarded a $5,000 scholarship. Mason plans to study Engineering at the University of Washington in the Fall.
The warm temperatures kept the beer and water flowing throughout the day. Our hole sponsors went all out with fun and exciting games at their holes. There was even a dance contest to win raffle tickets! The golfers enjoyed the evening BBQ dinner while DBIA Golf Chairman, Dave Stolecki, and our Executive Director, Carrisa Linnane, handed out dozens of fantastic raffle prizes – including a Tesla-for-a-day!
A special Thank You to our Tournament sponsor BCRA Design! Mark your calendars for next year’s Tournament on July 14th!
