Central WA Chapter has gained enough momentum to become DBIA’s most recently formalized chapter. After successfully hosting a springtime event focused on Progressive Design-Build best practices, the Central WA Chapter has gained enough momentum to become DBIA’s most recently formalized Chapter. The grassroots group started out with four DBIA members who shared a passion for alternative delivery best practices and recognized the need for a centralized chapter. The Central WA chapter will serve as a resource for practitioners and owners east of the Cascades, reaching as far as northern Oregon and into Southern Idaho.
Chapter leadership currently consists of President – Becky Blankenship, Vice President – Stacy Shewell, Secretary – Darrin Sweeney, and Treasurer – Dick Richter. Goals for the next year include development of various committees to best deliver DBIA benefits to our membership.
